Kathleen - The Kapt'n of the Arizona Great Dane Drill Team, has gathered together like-minded individuals with their Danes, to form a Drill Team par excellence !They formed before Christmas 2000, and presented themselves to the streets of Phoenix, caroling ! - The Danes performed to their best, but the singers.............well they gave their all

The first official outing was to join in the parade on St Patrick's Day, all dressed up with shamrocks and a crock o gold, they held the audience lining the streets spellbound. They criss-crossed the streets with perfectly executed maneuvers, much encouragement from the on-lookers, and the support team, who came with their dogs, following behind we're the happiest smiling crew ever.

Summer then set in here in Phoenix, high soaring temperatures, enough to make anyone retreat inside with the air conditioning !, Did this deter the team........NO ! Spurred on with boundless enthusiasm, and increasingly more intricate routines, the team buckled down to some hard work, to perfect and increase their repertoire.

Over the last 3 years they have performed and honed their sequences, even doing a display at the Great Dane Nationals, in Cincinnati. They perform at schools, and have achieved their TDI (Therapy Dog International) status.
